Typically a "ring" circuit will be wired in 2.5mm conductors and support up to 32A load across both legs of the ring. It is called a ring because it is essentially a loop of cable out from the consumer unit to all the load points (sockets perhaps) and it then returns back to the consumer unit. It would not be wise to try and control the ring via a module that only supports 16A. I doubt you'd even fit both sets of conductors into the xxxx terminals.
We would advise asking your electrician if the circuit could be modified to be controllable via a single point where a module might be installable.
Alternatively add Z-Wave or Zigbee plugs to the sockets that need to be controlled.
