Generally speaking all Z-Wave devices work together as that's the whole point of the protocol and its accompanying certification program. That said, it's up to the Z-Wave controller manufacturer (in your case Ring) to ensure that devices work out-of-the-box with full functionality so this question would be best directed at Ring themselves.
