Can the connection lead be extended? I would install 2 units, one for internal temperature the other extended to approx 4m for external temperature, only the last bit of the of the extended one would need to be waterproof. Thermomètre numérique DS18B20 - Etanche à 1m

Yes it can be extended. Soldiering would be best used, then adhesive sheith.

Can be extended. not more than 20m. Signal will be lost.
People claimed tat they have tested.. See
